Trauma Integration Consultation

Hi, I’m Mandy!

I live by my faith, but I used to live a life of chaos. At age 28, I was divorced, an independent mama, living far from friends and family, pouring myself into my business, desperate for community and trying to survive.

After a lot of reflection and the intentional desire to heal, today I am happily married to the love of my life, Anthony. Together with our four kiddos, we enjoy growing closer to God, an incredible community and love Taco Tuesdays!

What Is Trauma?

Trauma response is a shock to the body and mind, taking up space both physically, mentally and emotionally; creating a new formed belief. An automatic response to shock can be multi-dimensional and overwhelm all five senses of the body. Shock can permeate all aspects of life, affecting the ability to make decisions and the quality of relationships.

What is Trauma Integration?

All of us are resilient, continuously learning and adapting. We have an innate need for connection and attachment. When our brain creates a trauma response, it creates a separation that allows us to complete our daily activities and impacts our overall resiliency and relationships throughout our life. Integration is a mindful process used to create a safe and reassuring environment so a practitioner can guide an individual to process unresolved trauma. Integration helps us become aware of our experiences and mindful of our responses in a new way. Integration helps us validate and accept these memories to release shock. Integration creates true healing and wholeness within.

Is Trauma Integration for you?

Are you overwhelmed? Does this sound terrifying? That is okay, I felt the same way when I started to do trauma work in my life. The experiences that have happened to you to leave the impact of trauma can be something big, small, unknown or anything in between.

Sometimes we only know the adaptations or triggers that resulted because of the the impact of the trauma no longer serve us. We can’t pinpoint the why or the event, but we can see the broken result. The incredible truth is that we are resilient! Healing from trauma is possible and we can live free from triggers and adaptations that continue to hurt us. I am here to help guide you through unresolved experiences, to help you accept your own wholeness, and to help you become aware of the resiliency you have always had.

You can do better than just survive, you can thrive!

“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.”
